Mr Fickle

Mr Fickle is President of the Royal Society of the Confidently Certain and Editor of The Reversalist…, the longest-running periodical in history, a role for which he is spectacularly unsuited, being a gentleman of total conviction and no consistency. He holds a belief with his whole chest, then reverses it before the paragraph is over, and regards this not as a flaw but as a rich and varied inner life.

In The Reversal he takes a firm position each week and retracts it the next, so that a patient reader watches him argue the entire compass and arrive, refreshed, exactly where he started.
